Information about the publisher of the Scangate website and service.

Publisher: Christlain Nanko, freelance IT professional (Germany), operator of the Scangate service. A German Unternehmergesellschaft (UG) is being incorporated; once the UG is registered in the commercial register (Handelsregister), the full company details (legal name, registered office, registration number, managing director) will be updated here. Paid subscriptions and event plans are collected through Stripe, a licensed payment service provider, in accordance with applicable German and EU payment and consumer rules.
Application hosting: Scangate runs on a dedicated VPS in Germany, operated by the publisher. Database and authentication: Supabase (EU region / project configuration).

Limitation of liability

Scangate strives to keep published information accurate. The service is provided “as is”. Liability for indirect loss or temporary unavailability is excluded to the extent permitted by law.

Intellectual property

Site elements (brand, copy, interface) are protected. Unauthorised reproduction is prohibited unless stated otherwise.

Applicable law and disputes

German law applies. Mandatory consumer jurisdiction rules remain unaffected. Otherwise, courts at the provider’s place of business in Germany have jurisdiction where permitted by law, unless a specific contract provides otherwise.

Personal data

Processing is described in the privacy policy. To exercise your rights: hello@scangate.app. Payments for paid features are handled by Stripe as payment processor under German and EU rules; Scangate does not store your full card details.
